What about HR and Dealing with People?
Ray Hodge is an expert in Perfomance and Productivity and is a Business Adviser, Consultant, Writer, Speaker
With over 30 years of coaching, management and business ownership experience, and he does not give give textbook advice.
His motto and purpose is “Making Leaders Lives Easier.” If you’ve spent any time leading others, you will know that managing even the best of people, at times, can be challenging, let alone those we find tricky to work with. And in times when it can be difficult to recruit skilled people, we need to work to bring out the best in the people we have. Helping those we lead to increase their performance; represent our business professionally; work effectively with their colleagues; and be part of a positive work culture are all part of effective leadership.
Now here is a contentious one - The Changing face of IR in the Australian Workplace.
Elisha Radwanowski from ACAPMA
Industrial Relations; There have been significant changes to the operation of bargaining in Australia. From 6/6/2023 there are three new ‘streams’ of bargaining, two of which are ‘forced’, which is to say that a business can be forced into the position of having to bargain with the union and other businesses. Investigate the protective actions businesses can take to mitigate the risk of forced bargaining, that include internal review (auditing) to correct common issues, activating standard Enterprise Bargaining or Cooperative Bargaining.
No pre-selection required, make the decision on the day.
