Asahi is one of the leaders in implementing automation in its production, warehousing and distribution facilities in Australia.
The Heathwood DC is one of the most advanced automated storage systems in ANZ, utilising six 22m-high automated storage cranes with satellite carts to maximise storage capacity and minimise labour. This fully automated high-density storage system can be used in cold chain storage to:
maximise utilisation of the storage cube
minimise footprint
reduce energy costs
minimise labour requirements
optimise system management and track and trace capabilities
