Enjoy a unique tour of Sydney Harbour and historic Goat Island! Get up close and personal with Sydney’s colourful convict past and experience an entertaining guided convict history walking tour on the island. Relax and take in Sydney’s beautiful harbour vistas whilst lunch is being served.
Discover a star of the sea: Søren Larsen, built in 1949, was one of the last fully traditional, cargo carrying sailing ships made for Baltic Trade. She was lovingly restored and re-rigged by the Davies family in 1978 to the graceful 19th century Brigantine she is today.
The ship’s crew are handpicked from around the world and bring this beautiful traditional vessel to life and engage guests with experience and stories.

Oyster Farm Tour

Visit an operating oyster farm at Mooney Mooney, take a boat ride to the oyster leases on the Hawkesbury River, harvest and taste your own fresh Broken Bay Oysters.
You will then slide into waders and disembark at the newest oyster lease where you will be met by more farmers who will guide you to your in-water table. Get ready to taste freshly opened oysters from the very waters you are standing in.

Fragrance & Perfume Workshop

The workshop starts with a brief history of perfume and its evolution throughout the ages, an exploration of our sense of smell and how smell identification is very closely associated with memory. You will discuss how perfumes are layered and you will create your own signature fragrance. Mix and match the odourants until you come up with a perfume that is an extension of you. Lunch and drinks will end this fun and intriguing activity.

Frank Vale Award 2022
Frank Vale Nomination - How does it work?
This prestigious award is open to all employees of RWTA member companies, who meet the following criteria:
All candidates must be 35 years of age, or younger;
have worked within the industry for a minimum of three years;
possess insight into their organisations strategic values and direction, it’s policies, rules and regulations;
possess a broad knowledge of the Cold Chain;
demonstrate excellence in their work;
demonstrate potential to excel further in any of the many facets within the industry.
Candidates may come from any sector within the Cold Chain and possess expertise in a commercial, administrative, technical, engineering, accounting, sales, handling, service or management role.
Candidates must be available to attend the RWTA’s state based networking events and, of course, the RWTA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition in August 2022, in Sydney NSW.
Evaluation Process
Step 1 - Complete and send the Nomination Form by the 17th June 2022
Step 2 - Send your written Application by Friday 8th July 2022.
Step 3 - Each State Division’s appointed judging panel will interview all Nominees and then forward their recommendation for a State Finalist to the RWTA Executive Officer, based on the interview and the submitted written application.
Step 4 - During the course of the National Conference each State Finalist will be interviewed by a National judging panel
Step 5 - State Finalists will give a 5 min oral presentation to Conference attendees (no power point)
Step 6 - By the end of the Conference the appointed judging panel will nominate a FVA Winner, based on the interview, written application and oral presentation
