Kim Skubris

Kim pursued a career as a News broadcast journalist, and clocked up more than 30 years experience with the Seven Network in Australia and affiliate stations overseas.

As a network correspondent, she has reported on some of the country’s biggest stories, including from Bali with Schapelle Corby, in war zones and natural disasters.

For more than 20 years she has also been an emcee, facilitator, and keynote speaker.
Kim now works as a freelance reporter while running her own communications consulting business and is passionate about helping people become powerful communicators through message mastery, storytelling, video, and dynamic public speaking.

She works closely with many of Queensland’s 77 councils through LGAQ’s Peak Services and has been honoured with appointments as an Ambassador for The Daniel Morcombe Foundation and as a National Ambassador for Act For Kids.
