In that case, we have a Mental Health First Aid Course available just for you!

This accredited program will teach you how to spot the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions, build confidence in having a mental health conversation with a colleague or loved one, give practical tools to assist in a mental health crisis…and much more.

What is it?

The Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants to assist someone who is:

  • developing a mental health problem

  • experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem

  • in a mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received.

What will I learn?

By attending this course, you will learn:

  • about the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions

  • how to provide initial help

  • where to direct a person to get professional help

  • how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.

Content:

6 hours of self-paced online learning

2 x 2.5hr instructor led zoom sessions
