So, does this item need to be cold…or just fresh?

Are there options to store things without having to chill them? There is an FDA approved coating to avoid rot- so does food need to be COLD or FRESH? Do we need to risk a biodiverse diet, does meat need to be refrigerated and perhaps there is another option and a way to sidestep the cognitive dissonance, the struggle to make sense of contradictory thoughts or behaviours.
